Our Missionaries

Missionaries, Tony & Lauren Finch have been working among the Tarahumara people of Cobrachi, in north-central Mexico, since 1988. The church was born in 1995 and they continue ministering to the needs of the people and seeking to strengthen the church and its leaders.

There are around 115,000 Tarahumara people scattered in the mountains and canyons of the region. They still do not have a usable New Testament completed in their language, and many areas of the tribe are still untouched by the gospel.

The Caborachi believers form the most vibrant Church in the region. Their testimony is impacting and drawing people from neighboring valleys.

Desert Edge supports Tony & Lauren financially as well as prayerfully. Please pray that God would develop a strong mature church both in the community where they serve as well as amongst the whole of Tarahumara people.
